- : compare the qualities of two people or animals. The comparative degree is of three types:
-of superiority: more + adjective + that: most good.
-of Equality: tan + adjective + as: as good as.
-inferiority: less + adjective + that: less good. Superlative
- : expresses the quality in its highest degree. Can be of two types:
-Relative: expresses the quality in the highest degree, but in relation to other people, animals or things: Ana is the most reflective of the class.
-Absolute: expresses the quality in the highest degree, without connecting with other people, animals or things. Formed by:
a) very + adjective: this castle is very old.
b) adjective + ISIM / a: this visit is hilarious.
